I finally finished this series! It’s been years.
This was a satisfying book and conclusion. Although I did think Sofia and Gideon were a little more emotionally distant. Maybe the other books were like that and I just don’t remember. I still liked them and was interested in their story, but I could’ve been more connected.
I am still kind of confused about the larger plot with the Whispers. Them (?) and the little chapter interludes always felt weird to me. I feel like a learned a little toward the end. I’m not sure if its an issue with the writing or just over my head. Who knows? I would read more by these authors.
